How does Readmate connect to WeRead?
Paste your API Key, and Readmate will sync your books and highlights from WeRead.

Does it support other book sources?
Not yet. It currently syncs WeRead. Kindle, Apple Books and more will be supported later.

Can I keep reading offline?
Yes. After the first sync, books and highlights saved on your device can be revisited and searched offline. You can also edit and export Share Cards.

Where is my reading data stored?
All data, including your API Key, is stored on your device. The API Key is kept in iOS Keychain, and your reading data stays local.

Will long passages be cut off?
No. If a passage does not fit on one page, it continues onto the next or becomes one long image. The full text and source stay intact.

Do I need a subscription?
No. Readmate is free to download. Lifetime Member is a one-time purchase of $2.99.

How do I install the Readmate widget?
On your iPhone Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area, tap the add button, search for Readmate, choose a widget size, and add it to your Home Screen.
